History

• 1943: SEPPIC was created
• 1972: The Société des Produits Chimiques de la Montagne Noire in Castres was acquired
• 1981: First Sepifilm ^TM (film-coating of pharmaceutical tablets and food supplements) produced at the Castres laboratory
• 1986 : SEPPIC became an Air Liquide subsidiary
• 1991 : : The Givaudan-Lavirotte site was acquired (pharmaceutical and nutritional active ingredients – mineral salts)
• 1999: Natural health ingredients marketed
• 2009 : Launch of Rebaten 97%, 97% purified extract of Stevia rebaudiana (November).
